"description_short": "Galvanised 20 cm staples in packs of 50. For weed fabric, turf and anything the wind wants to move.",
"description": "There are two jobs people buy pins for, and they need different pins.\n\nHolding lightweight edging or fabric in soft, settled loam is a job for the nylon spiral spikes: nothing to rust and nothing to stain a path.\n\nHolding heavy woven fabric or turf, in clay or stony ground, or anywhere exposed to wind, is a job for these. Steel at 3 mm goes through material that turns a nylon spike, and the U shape spreads the hold across two legs instead of one shank.\n\nThe galvanising is the detail that decides whether you get them back. Electroplated pins come out of wet ground rusted and one use only; hot dipped ones come out clean enough to reuse for years.\n\nOne practical note: drive them at a slight angle away from the pull rather than straight down. A vertical pin lifts; an angled one has to shear the soil to move.\n\nStandard delivery is €25 anywhere in Ireland, and free once your order reaches €100. Express Shipping is a paid option at €25 on any order.\n\nYou have 15 days from delivery to change your mind, one day more than the 14 days Irish consumer law gives on an online order. Send the goods back with proof of purchase, in their original packaging if you still have it. Return postage is at your cost, and nothing is deducted for handling. Faulty or misdescribed goods are a separate matter under the Consumer Rights Act 2022.",
