Spiral nylon stakes that hold edging, weed fabric and artificial turf. They will not rust and they will not lift.
The plastic garden edging kit already comes with three spikes per metre. These are for when that is not enough.
The usual reasons are loose or sandy ground, a run that has to hold a tight curve, or fixing something other than edging.
They are spiral nylon rather than steel, so there is nothing to rust and nothing to stain paving underneath.
The spiral is the working part: a straight peg walks out of wet ground over a winter of freezing and thawing, and a spiral has to turn to move.

They also work well outside their obvious job. Weed fabric, artificial turf underlay and ground cover all need pinning down, and a spiral holds those better than a U pin in soft ground.

How is a spiral better than a straight peg?
A straight peg works its way out through a winter of freezing and thawing. A spiral has to rotate to move, so it stays put.
Do I need these if I am buying the garden edging kit?
Usually not. The kit already includes three spikes per metre. These are for loose or sandy ground, tight curves, or fixing something else.

A rubber mallet in firm ground. In soft soil they push in by hand.

Are they the same spikes that come with the edging kit?

Will they hold in clay?
Yes. Clay holds a spiral very well once it is in.
Can I use them in gravel?
Drive them through the gravel into the ground beneath. A spike sitting only in loose gravel holds nothing.
Are they UV stable?
They are made for outdoor ground use and are normally covered by soil, mulch or gravel.

What if the item is faulty or not what was described?
That is a separate right under the Consumer Rights Act 2022, and it does not depend on the 15 days. You can ask for a repair, a replacement or a refund, and we pay the return postage.
Who pays return postage if I simply change my mind?
You do, unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong thing.
Can I cancel before it ships?
Yes, free of charge. Email us with your order number within 12 hours: orders are handled within 24 to 48 hours. Once an order has shipped it can no longer be cancelled, but you can still return it under the 15 day policy.
How do I track my order?
You get a confirmation email with a tracking number once the order ships. Items in one order can travel in separate parcels.
What payment methods do you take?
